Submissions are very personal, as is the acceptance process. Just because we do not accept a story or book idea from you doesn’t mean your writing doesn’t have merit. It simply means that the manuscript you sent does not fit our needs at the current time.
If we respond personally and offer some suggestions, you are welcome to revise and resubmit. However, we ask that you take the revision process seriously. Many times editing means much more than simple substitutions and requires thoughtful changes on your behalf.
